This policy explains when a HushVPS order paid in Monero can be refunded, how any refund is paid out, and what falls outside the money-back window. Because we don't ask for identity — ordering takes only a quick pseudonymous account (username + password, no name, ID, address or card) and each order is tracked by an anonymous order token — refunds are handled through that token — see the terms of service for how tokens work.
You can request a refund when the service cannot be delivered as described, provided the Acceptable Use Policy has not been violated. One money-back refund applies per customer for a given plan; it covers a genuine "this didn't fit my use case" situation, not repeated order-and-refund cycles.
Approved refunds are paid in cryptocurrency to an address you provide. We refund the amount you paid for the current billing period, less any network or exchange fees. We can only send funds to the destination address you give us at the time of the request; we cannot reverse a Monero payment back to its origin, so double-check the address before you send it.
Send your anonymous order token — the identifier issued at checkout — through our contact channel and tell us briefly why you're requesting a refund. PGP is welcome. Please include the payout address in the same message so we don't have to exchange it separately. We aim to acknowledge and process approved refunds as promptly as we reasonably can. If you've lost your order token we may be unable to locate the order, since your account holds no identifying records — so keep the token safe.
Monero payments are final and cannot be charged back through a card network or bank, which is part of why the payout process above exists. If something is wrong with your order, reach out first — nearly every issue that qualifies is resolved faster by contacting us directly than by any other route.
