Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 July 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and HushVPS ("we", "us", "the service") for the use of our anonymous, Monero-first VPS hosting. We have kept them short and readable on purpose. By placing an order you accept these terms along with our Acceptable Use Policy and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of them, do not order a server.

Our operating principle is simple: you don't exist, we don't ask. We collect as little as we can to run the service, and we hold you to a narrow set of rules that keep the platform legal and usable for everyone. Nothing here grants a right to abuse the network — privacy is not a licence for harm.

1. The service we provide

HushVPS sells virtual private servers billed in Monero. Each plan's vCPU, memory, storage, bandwidth and price are listed on the pricing page, which is the authoritative source of what you are buying at the moment of checkout. Specifications may be adjusted for new orders over time; the terms shown to you during that specific order govern that order. We provision on shared physical infrastructure and do not guarantee any particular hardware, hypervisor, or upstream network provider.

2. Pseudonymous accounts and order tokens

To place an order you create a quick pseudonymous account — a username and password, with email optional — and we do not ask you to register a name, ID, phone number, postal address, or card. Every purchase is also identified by an anonymous order token generated at checkout. That token is how you check status, request support, and reference your server later.

Treat the token like a password. Anyone who holds it can view and manage the order it belongs to, so store it somewhere private and do not share it. Because the account is pseudonymous and email is optional, if you provide no recovery email and lose both your credentials and your token, we cannot restore a lost order — we have no way to prove it was yours. This is a deliberate trade-off of the no-identity model, not an oversight.

3. Payment in Monero

Orders are paid through a Monero (XMR) invoice with an exchange rate locked for the duration of the invoice window. Your service becomes active once the payment reaches the required number of on-chain confirmations, after which provisioning follows shortly. Renewals are charged for each billing cycle you selected — monthly or yearly — and a server may be suspended and later reclaimed if a renewal invoice is not paid before it lapses. We do not store card numbers or bank details because we never handle them. Anything about getting money back is covered by our refund policy.

4. Acceptable use

Your use of any HushVPS server must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, which forbids clearly harmful activity including child sexual abuse material, malware distribution, spam, and network attacks such as DDoS. Anonymity is offered so that lawful users can protect themselves — it is not cover for the conduct the AUP prohibits. We investigate credible abuse reports and act on them, and a serious or repeated violation can lead to immediate suspension or termination without refund.

5. Availability and liability

We work hard to keep servers online, but the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no specific uptime or SLA commitment. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from data loss, and you are responsible for keeping your own backups of anything you store on a server.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HushVPS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the current billing period of the affected server.

6. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time by letting your server lapse and simply abandoning your pseudonymous account. We may suspend or terminate service for violations of the AUP, for non-payment, or where required to keep the platform lawful. On termination the data on your server is destroyed as part of our normal wipe process. What, if anything, is refundable on termination is set out in the refund policy.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be noted on this page. Because we hold no contact details, we cannot notify you individually, so please review this page before renewing if it matters to you. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which HushVPS operates, and any dispute that cannot be resolved directly will be handled under that jurisdiction. If a court finds any provision unenforceable, the rest of these terms remain in effect.

Questions about this agreement can go to our contact channels. For the full picture of how we handle data and what we will not host, read the Privacy Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy alongside these terms.
